Rick has a strong background and foundation with committed Christian beliefs. Rick obtained a college BS degree in accounting and marketing while earning a college scholarship in baseball. Rick has a family with his wife, 2 young daughters, and son.

Rick started his real estate career in Charlotte N.C. in 1989. His experience in four major areas began first working as a full time New Home Sales Manager with a top new homes builder and then accepted a Area Sales Manager position with a small builder at that time named Eastwood Homes. (currently one of the largest builders in the area) Rick quickly helped the builder produce an increase of 35% in his first year with new home sales of 89 units and 9 million in sales volume. In 1989-90 that was a major accomplishment considering the new home average price was less than half of today’s average. Rick was promoted to Sales Manager in less than 2 years. Rick became one of the top honored New Home Sales professionals by the New Home Builders Association for more than 6 years straight.

Second, Ricks experience as an existing buyers broker began after a promotion as a manager in general brokerage. Ricks knowledge of the areas and his personal relationship with many of the local builders and mortgage lenders became very important to his clients.

Third, Ricks experience as a sellers broker helping sellers market effectively with maximum results developed him as one of the top marketing professionals in the area. Clients noticed quickly Ricks professional and likable approach when dealing with customers. Simply put, he knows how to market and sell! Rick has produced an average of multi millions in sales volume annually throughout his career.

Fourth, based on management proven results, Rick owned and operated as a broker owner for 10 years one of the largest franchise companies in the world, Century 21 real estate. Upon completion of the 10 year ownership Rick accepted a position with Remax in 2008. Rick developed his team professionals and created his Professional Sports Division where he represents many professional athletes and their families with relocation. Rick currently represents many NFL, NBA, and Nascar athletes. Rick has represented Carolina Panther players, Charlotte Bobcats/Hornets, and is known as one of the NC Tar heels brokers of choice representing former tar heel players now in the NBA working with Dean Smiths personal Attorney and managers.
